Lisa Molinaro is a violist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist based in Portland, Oregon. Lisa's lush and scathing performances on viola in her band Talkdemonic have earned her distinguished recognition around the nation and have created an indelible impression on Portland's music scene. Lisa studied viola at Stetson University under Routa Kroumovitch and in Portland with Brian Quincey. Lisa's professional competence on a wide array of instruments and her versatile singing skills have made her a rewarding and enriching accompanist for such artists as The Decemberists, Horse Feathers, Mirah and Laura Gibson, and have awarded her appearances on David Letterman and Conan O'Brien. Focusing primarily as a violist, Lisa's faculties on piano, voice, violin, guitar, bass and various instruments however allow for a well-rounded approach to the studio session. Lisa comes to the studio and stage with a confidence and unique style that compliment all genres.
